Channel Tres' groove rooted Detroit techno takes a chill pill on the new unreleased demo 'I'm attached'. A wavering synth pad flutters besides a chilled beat, giving the tune an airy, spacious feel. Channel Tres' vocals open the song, inviting listeners to "the shit show", but we beg to differ. A mixture of vocal styles, melodic, rhythmic and rap give the song a colourful hue, as Tres offers some sound advice "never make a promise before you see your options". The homemade video that accompanies shows Tres, hanging out with a friend, sharing a bottle of champagne and zoobie. It looks like they had a good time, and hopefully you will too. -Ellie Rose-Davies
